Wiped out? …or merely rained out?

Riding on the “new” South Grand today, I about flipped. As I rode along I could see no evidence of the markings for the proposed door zone sharrows! Upon closer examination, the markings are still on the roadway, but fading fast. My husband thinks that Saturday’s rains may have something to do with this. I’m hoping that human (instead of heavenly) powers are at work.
